Born & Lived: Delmar, New York
Early Life: Born and raised in upstate New York and am an East Coaster through and through. Moved to Boston for college, and lived there for 6 years with a one year hiatus to Ecuador.
Education: Undergrad: Boston College, history. Grad: Masters in Higher Ed Admin
Family: Son to John and Lynda, youngest of four kids, engaged to be married in May
Most Meaningful Achievement: Earning my master’s degree. Knowing how much my parents had valued education, I knew how proud they were of me to continue my studies and find a passion.
Why I came to SCU: I had a deep desire to work in Jesuit Higher education mentoring and accompanying students. I also distinctly remember saying to a friend 7 years ago my ideal job would be coordinating immersions at a Jesuit University. When the position opened up I jumped at the chance.
Previous Employer: Teach For America Bay Area office
In 5 years I Plan to Be: Part of a growing family, doing work that I love, settled more in a place to call home yet still traveling.
Favorite Books/Series: The Impossible Will Take a Little While: A Citizen’s Guide to Hope in a Time of Fear Edited by Paul Loeb.
In My Spare Time: I dabble in digital photography, play soccer, and enjoy living in San Francisco.

The Staff Senate shall exist to contribute to the success of Santa Clara University, to the growth and welfare of its staff employees, and to the promotion of a positive and supportive work environment.
The Staff Senate shall exist to contribute to the success of Santa Clara University, to the growth and welfare of its staff employees, and to the promotion of a positive and supportive work environment. As a constituent organization, along with the Faculty Senate and Associated Students, the Staff Senate shall operate as a recognized part of the University governance system to provide a forum for open communication and ongoing dialogue among staff and between staff and administration. The Staff Senate shall be a consultative and deliberative body with authority to make recommendations on all matters which have a significant bearing on the working environment of the staff. The Staff Senate, through its elected representatives, will serve as the official nominating body for staff appointments to administrative committees, and for other task forces and search committees as requested.
