The Housing Office at Santa Clara University is excited about your interest in on-campus graduate housing! Our graduate properties are intended for professional graduate students who are considerate of their neighbors and are interested in engaging in a community in which a high premium is placed on creating an environment that is conducive to academic success!

The graduate on-campus housing communities offer a variety of advantages for law and graduate students which include: convenient locations, furnished and unfurnished living space options, a housing contract and terms based on the academic year calendar, a community of scholars, and most importantly, a quiet & courteous environment conducive to your academic pursuits and goals! At this time, Santa Clara University cannot provide on-campus family housing to graduate & law students.

Smoking Policy at Santa Clara University

On July 1, 2015, Santa Clara University became a smoke-free campus. The use of all forms of tobacco, tobacco products, and electronic smoking devices is prohibited everywhere on-campus, including graduate/law residence halls and all surrounding outdoor areas. Please consider this restriction when making your decision to apply to live on-campus at Santa Clara University. 

Apply for Graduate Housing

The 2016- 2017 graduate housing application for those residents currently residing within graduate campus housing will become available via eCampus on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 and for priority consideration, the application must be completed by Friday, March 18, 2016. The 2016 - 2017 graduate housing application for NEW applicants will become available via eCampus on Wednesday, May 30th, 2016

Graduate housing applications for the current 2014-2015 academic year are accepted on a rolling basis and housing assignments are made if space is available at the time of application. Log into eCampus and enter your campus ID and password to submit your graduate housing application on-line! In order for your application to be considered complete, you must submit a contract, a graduate housing preference form, and a $250 housing deposit. Apply here!

Unfortunately, the Housing Office cannot provide graduate student housing to graduate/law programs that begin outside of posted Law (August 9, 2015) and graduate (September 1, 2015) move-in dates for the 2015 - 2016 academic school year. Additionally, Santa Clara University does not offer family housing for graduate or law students.

Graduate Housing 2015 - 2016 Rates
All graduate housing rates are based on a 10-month contract and include an allotment of Dining Points; 200 points per quarter for graduate students and 300 points per semester for Law students. Graduate housing is billed by the academic term; graduate students are billed per academic quarter while Law students are billed each semester.
