Winter Break Housing RequestsMonday, Nov. 9, 2009 2:24 PM
We will be able to offer limited housing over the winter break period. Only international students with travel restrictions and intercollegiate athletes whose sport will be competing during the break period are eligible to apply for break housing; however, eligibility does not guarantee approval. Given space constraints, only a limited number of students will be approved for Winter break housing. Housing over the winter break period will cost $215.00 per week. All students who will be staying over the break period will be housed with roommates in St. Clare hall. All other residence halls will be closed. Residents of St. Clare hall must still apply and be approved to stay over the break period and will be responsible for all charges. Because space is limited, only those students who fill out a form on-time will be considered. The Winter Break Housing applications must be turned in to your Resident Director by 5 pm on Friday, November 20th.

Fall Quarter Extension Requests

The residence halls close for Winter break at 9:00pm on Friday, December 11th. Residents will not be permitted to stay in the halls after this time. If you live at a distance from the campus and have a Friday 12/11 final, you may be eligible to apply for a housing extension until Saturday 12/12 at 9 am. Please click here for the Fall quarter Housing Extension form to see the details. This form is due by 5 pm on Friday, November 20th to your Resident Director. Application does not guarantee approval.

Early Action Process

Welcome class of 2014! If you have been accepted through the Early Action process and you have received your eCampus ID and password, you may begin to apply for on-campus housing beginning on Monday, January 4, 2010. Please review the link to the left for more information.

We would like to remind you that contracts are cancelled only due to students withdrawing or transferring from the University, studying abroad, graduating or for medical reasons. Please review the contract release request form for more details, which you may find at the “Canceling and Changing Housing” link to the left.

Compete the form and turn it in to the Housing Office no later than Friday, November 20th at 5pm.

Online Room Selection for Current Students

All students who completed a housing application by May 1, 2009 will receive an email on Friday, May 15 after 6:00pm which will confirm their RLC assignment, room type accommodation and if applicable, roommate assignment. Online Room Selection information will be available on Monday, May 18 after 6:00pm, on the housing link, in ecampus. This information will include the student’s Online Room Selection date and time. The deadline for the summer housing application period is quickly approaching. If you are interested in on-campus housing for this summer, please apply by Friday, May 22, 2009. Please click on this link to download the contract and application, which will need to be mailed or dropped off at the Housing Office along with a $100 deposit. Applying for Winter and Spring Housing 2009

If you are interested in applying for housing for winter and spring of this academic year, you may do so by submitting completed forms to the Housing Office in Benson 212. You may download the forms which are located in the "Applying for Housing" section of this website and submit them along with a $250 check deposit. Students will be placed based on availability.

Winter Break Closing

The residence halls will close at 9pm on Friday, December 12, 2008. Please keep in mind that only students who are approved for an extension may stay beyond 9pm on Friday, December 12, 2008. For more details please contact your Resident Director or the Offices of Housing and Residence Life.
