Check In for New ResidentsThursday, Aug. 7, 2008 at 4:24 PM
New residents may check into their halls on Saturday, September 20. Swig residents will move in by floor - floors 1, 2, 8, 9 and 10, 8:30am to 10:30am and floors 3, 4, 6 and 7, 10:30am to 12:30pm. In all other halls, students will move in by room number - even-numbered rooms check in 8:30am to 10:30am and odd-numbered rooms check in 10:30am to 12:30pm.

Returning residents may check into their halls on Sunday, September 21, from 9:00am - 4:00pm. Please arrive during this designated time, as the staff will only be available during this time frame.

If you submitted a completed housing application by May 1, 2008, Housing will send you a confirmation email on Friday, May 9. The email will contain details regarding your RLC/building assignment, Room Selection night, lottery time, and if applicable roommate/suitemate confirmation. We would also encourage you to review the information contained in the link to the left titled "2008-2009 Room Selection." -

This year the summer program will be housed in the Dunne residence hall. If you are interested in applying for on-campus housing for this summer, please download the contract and application from the link to the left titled "Applying for Housing." Applications for summer housing must be turned in no later than Friday, May 23, 2008. -
Applying for Housing for 2008-2009 - Current StudentsMonday, May. 5, 2008 at 9:39 AM
Although the deadline for on-campus housing applications has passed, we encourage students interested to apply via eCampus. Please submit a contract, RLC/Housing preferences and a $250 housing deposit, which will be applied towards your first quarter's housing charges.
Current students will be placed on a wait list and notified of possible on-campus options beginning in early June, if not earlier. -
Applying for Housing for 2008-2009 - Incoming FreshmenMonday, May. 5, 2008 at 9:37 AM
Incoming freshmen may continue to apply. We would encourage you to submit your contract, preferences, and deposit as soon as possible in order to be assigned to an RLC. You will be notified of your RLC assignment when you attend summer orientation in July. -
Applying for Housing for 2008-2009Friday, Feb. 29, 2008 at 10:56 AM
Beginning March 3, 2008 the online application process will be available through eCampus. If you are interested in on-campus housing you must submit a contract, RLC/Housing preferences and a $250 housing deposit, which will be applied towards your first quarter’s housing charges. The due date for all applications is May 1, 2008.
If you have a preference for paper, you may download a contract and preference form from the link to the left, titled “Applying for Housing.” Make sure to follow the directions on submitting a paper application.
We strongly encourage students to submit their application online, via eCampus.

The online housing application will be available as of March 3, 2008 in eCampus. Please note that equal priority will be given to both paper and online applications, as long as they are received by the May 1 deadline. -

If you are interested in applying for housing for winter and spring of this academic year, you may do so by submitting completed forms to the Housing Office. You may download the forms which are located in the "Applying for Housing" section of this website. Students will be placed based on availability. -

07-08 On-Campus Housing Assignment Confirmation PacketsWednesday, Jul. 25, 2007 at 10:07 AM
Housing assignment confirmation packets will be sent out mid-August by mail. You will also receive an assignment confirmation letter via email to your SCU Groupwise account. This packet will contain information about your room assignment, your roommate, dining plan, Welcome Weekend and about campus living.
Welcome Weekend 2007
Welcome Weekend is September 15 and 16, 2007.
Freshmen Check-In is on Saturday, September 15 from 8:30am to 12:30pm.
Returning Student Check-In is on Sunday, September 16 from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
More specific information will be included in the Housing assignment confirmation packet.
Resident Dining Plan Change Requests
Your Resident Dining Plan information will be confirmed in the Housing assignment confirmation packet. If you wish to request a change to your resident dining plan, you may submit a Resident Dining Plan Change Request form to the Housing office. All Fall 2007 requests must be made by September 7, 2007. The change form is located in the Canceling and Changing Housing section of this website.

07-08 On-Campus Housing Sign-Up Friday, May. 4, 2007 at 1:05 PM
The application period for undergraduate on-campus housing has closed for all current students as well as for all freshmen admitted before May 1st. If you apply for housing after May 1st, you will be placed on a waitlist and notified during the summer whether or not we have housing available for you for the 2007-08 academic year.
If you are an incoming freshman notified of your admission after May 1st, the deadline for the Housing Office to receive your application is May 18th. We encourage you to submit your housing application as soon as possible, however, for the broadest selection of housing choices.
If you are a transfer student admitted during the months of May and June, the deadline for the Housing Office to receive your application is July 2nd. Transfer assignments will be made on an ongoing basis as applications are received. The earlier your application is received, the greater the chance that we will be able to assign you to an accommodation selected on you RLC/Housing Preference Form.

The application process for 07-08 on-campus housing has begun. We strongly recommend all students interested in on-campus housing for next year to apply online through eCampus as well as applying as soon as possible as the date your application is received may determine you RLC placement. All applications are due May 1, 2007.

The 07-08 On-Campus Housing application process will begin on March 1, 2007. For more details, look for the On-Campus Housing and Dining Options brochure to be distributed in the residence halls beginning early February. Copies of these brochures will also be available in the Housing office -
Open Room Change PeriodTuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 at 1:01 PM
The Open Room Change Period is now here. If you are interested in requesting a room change, please submit a completed Room Change Request form to the Housing office before 5pm on Tuesday, January 16.
All Room Change requests decisions will be out via email on Thursday, January 18 after 1pm.

The Winter 2007 housing application process is now over. Winter assignments have gone out via e-mail to all those on the waitlist. If you are still interested in on-campus housing beginning in the Winter quarter, please contact us at housing@scu.edu for futher instruction.

Residence Halls closed for Winter breakTuesday, Dec. 5, 2006 at 4:12 PM
The residence halls will be closing Friday, Dec. 8 at 9 p.m. for the Winter break. They will re-open at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007. Have a happy holidays and a happy new year!

Study Abroad Returners Interested in On-Campus HousingThursday, Nov. 16, 2006 at 5:11 PM
All students who are returning from their time abroad who have already submitted a Housing application will be contacted via email in mid-November with an update on on-campus availability. If you are returning from a Study Abroad program and have not submitted a Housing application, you may do so online through eCampus or you may send a paper application to the Housing Office. The deadline for Winter 2007 Housing applications is November 30, 2006. Paper applications may be printed online.

Winter Resident Dining Plan Change RequestsThursday, Nov. 16, 2006 at 5:11 PM
If you wish to change your Resident Dining Plan, requests may be submitted between November 13- November 20. Requests forms may be found on the Canceling or Changing Housing page.
