Canceling or Changing Housing
1. Housing Contract Release Request Form
To request to cancel your housing contract, please fill out and submit a Housing Contract Release Request to the Housing Office.
For Fall 2007 Term Cancellations: If a cancellation notice is received by May 1, for the fall term, the deposit is refundable.
A cancellation notice received May 2 - June 30 will result in the forfeiture of the deposit plus $300 of the fall quarter's contract value charged to the student's Bursar Account.
A cancellation notice received July 1 - August 14 will result in the forfeiture of the deposit plus $500 of the fall quarter’s contract value charged to the student’s Bursar Account.
A cancellation notice received August 15 - Welcome Weekend Opening will result in the forfeiture of the deposit plus $700 of the fall quarter's contract value charged to the student's Bursar Account.
2. Room Change Request Form
To request a room change, please fill out and submit a Room Change Request Form to the Housing office by the date listed below.
Fall Quarter
As of Monday, September 24, forms may be submitted to the Housing Office. Forms are due to the Housing Office by 5:00pm on Monday, October 1. Room change decisions will be available after 1:00pm on Friday, October 5.
Winter Quarter
As of Monday, January 7, forms may be submitted to the Housing Office. Forms are due to the Housing Office by 5:00pm on Monday, January 14. Room change decisions will be available after 1:00pm on Friday, January 18.
Spring Quarter
As of Monday, March 31, forms may be submitted to the Housing Office. Forms are due to the Housing Office by 5:00pm on Monday, April 7. Room change decisions will be available after 1:00pm on Friday, April 11.
3. Resident Dining Plan Change Request Form
To change your Resident Dining Plan, please fill out the Resident Dining Plan Change Request Form and submit it to the Housing Office during the corresponding dates found below.
To change your plan for Fall quarter, forms must be submitted by September 7, 2007.
To change your plan for Winter quarter, forms must be submitted between November 13 - November 20, 2007.
To change your plan for Spring quarter, forms must be submitted between February 11 - 18, 2008.
No changes will be accepted outside of the open periods or once a quarter has started. Once a change had been made, it is made through the end of academic year unless changed again during another Dining Plan Change period.
