Santa Clara University understands the need for quality child care for the children of our faculty and staff. Families have a wide range of needs--including infant care, pre-school education, or individualized attention for special needs children, part-time care and one-time emergencies, after school supervision, and summer activities for school age children. Finding child care can be overwhelming, and often at just the wrong times.

We have compiled a variety of resources to support you in your search for the right child care needs. In addition, the University's daycare, Kids On Campus provides care for children of faculty, staff, students and alumni

Back-Up Care Advantage Program

Bright Horizons back-up care programs provide employees with a safety net for those days when regular care arrangements fall through. Back-up care supplements these arrangements and is a comforting emergency alternative when you need it the most. Visit site >>

Bronco Kidz All Sports

Care.com

Care.com provides a web-based resource to connect individual faculty and staff with vetted babysitters, nannies, elder care providers, and pet sitters. The service enables individuals to search nationally to find and select the best care possible based on detailed profiles, background checks, and references of over one million care providers.

You can even use "College Caregivers" to find care providers who attend Santa Clara or “Care on Call” to find short-term back-up care.

Kids on Campus is a self-funded, non-profit, parent participation pre-school and childcare center at Santa Clara University. Kids on Campus has been a part of the University since the fall of 1969 and serves children whose parent(s) are SCU faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
