The Staff Senate, Faculty Senate Council, and Department of Human Resources are pleased to sponsor a forum to help faculty and staff better understand the new retirement funds recently added to Santa Clara University's Defined Contribution 401(a) and 403(b) retirement plans. These new funds include Fidelity Freedom Index funds and the new Vanguard funds made available as of July 2011.

The forum will be held from 4-5 pm on Thursday, October 6th in Room 126 of Lucas Hall. (This is the Forbes Room of the new Business School building.)

The panel will include:

Joseph Crowley, SCU’s independent financial consultant
Sanjiv Das, SCU Finance Department
Dan Ostrov, SCU Math and Computer Science Department
Hersh Shefrin, SCU Finance Department

The panel will answer any questions about the new funds as well as other general questions you might have about retirement plans. Light refreshments will be provided.
