Workshop Description:
Are you dreaming of a White Christmas? Well we're dreaming of a green one! This year the Office of Sustainability will be hosting its first ever Santa's Sustainable Holiday Workshop! Come learn how to make the happiest time of the year more eco-friendly. This workshop is designed not only to be educational and informative, but it will also be a fun party with food and decor! Activities include:
- Holiday Food Dish competition! Have a delicious holiday recipe? Bring some to share out to the event for the chance to win a prize! Want to know how to earn extra points? Incorporate locally grown and/or organic ingredients for a more sustainable meal! Guests will test taste all the dishes and cast their vote for the best one. Extra votes awarded for each organic/local ingredient.
- Sustainable gift wrapping workshop! Learn creative ways to wrap your gifts this season without creating the usual garbage bag full of waste.
- Green gift ideas!
- Sustainable entertaining tips!
