  • Department description Undergraduate study in the Department of Operations Management and Information Systems (OMIS) explores the use of computer information systems and analytical decision-making methods in organizations.
    Qualifications 1. SCU Undergraduate Student 2. Good writing skill 3. Good at reading and summarizing technical papers 4. Computer, information systems, engineering, or math background will be preferred. 5. Interest in research topics of security, privacy and data analytic.
    Duties and responsibilities 1. 10 hours per week and 10 weeks in total. 2. You will be assigned to read a number of research papers (could be very technical). 3. Summarize weakness and strength of literature works, try to identify research problems that have not been addressed, and write weekly reports.
