  • Department description The Locatelli center is a multipurpose space for student organizations and departments to host their events. Concerts, speaker series, banquets, conferences, etc.
    Qualifications ? Must be a current SCU student in good academic standing per the Student Handbook ? Ability to supervise peers and work with students, faculty, and staff tactfully and professionally ? Strong leadership, organization, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills ? Effective decision making and interpersonal skills ? Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time ? Reliable and responsible ? Honesty and integrity are essential
    Duties and responsibilities ? Responsible for opening, closing, and securing the facility according to established procedures ? Remain up-to-date on all operational procedures ? Monitor events, including setups, staffing and procedures ? Maintain a record of issues confronted throughout shift and debrief events with the Center?s staff ? Ensure compliance with policies and procedures under emergency situations ? Ensure that patrons uphold LAC and University policies and procedures ? Maintain familiarity with operation of all audio-visual equipment and troubleshoot complications ? Work in conjunction with Production Crew, Facilities, and Bon Appetit to ensure accurate setup ? Assist Production Crew with large setups and issues as they arise ? Model appropriate behavior and provide leadership for Production Crew ? Review daily reports to familiarize self with events and meetings occurring in the LAC ? Contact appropriate individuals if event setup, facility appearance, or maintenance concerns arise ? Identify and resolve immediate operations issues in the building ? Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions
