  • Department description The Locatelli center is a multipurpose space for student organizations and departments. We host concerts, speaker series, banquets, conferences, etc.
    Qualifications ? Must be a current SCU student in good academic standing per the Student Handbook ? Effective interpersonal skills in working in a team ? Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff tactfully and professionally ? Strong organization, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills ? Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time ? Reliable and responsible ? Honesty and integrity are essential ? Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
    Duties and responsibilities ? Responsible for event setup and breakdown according to established procedures ? Arrive on time for set-ups and transitions ? Maintain familiarity with operation of all audio-visual equipment and troubleshoot complications ? Work in conjunction with Student Building Managers, Facilities, and Bon Appetit to ensure accurate setup for scheduled events ? Adjust setup as needed ? Contact appropriate individuals if event setup, facility appearance, or maintenance concerns arise ? Identify and resolve immediate operations issues in the building ? Ability to be flexible and handle different situations with confidence and leadership ? Attend all scheduled meetings and training sessions
