  • Department description The Center for Student Leadership is dedicated to providing high quality leadership education through formal training and experiential opportunities in an integrated academic environment. The Center educates for leadership in the Jesuit tradition and promotes partnerships with faculty, students, staff, alumni, and the greater Santa Clara community. The Student Assistant will assist in providing programs and services that embrace the values of social justice, citizenship, ethical decision making, service to others, and diversity.
    Qualifications ? Currently enrolled at Santa Clara University as an undergraduate student. ? Demonstrated organizational and communication skills. ? Available 12-2pm weekdays preferred, but not limited. ? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and exercise sound judgment. ? Understanding and support of the Jesuit tradition of education and a commitment to the fundamental values of service to others, community and diversity.
    Duties and responsibilities ? Provide clerical and administrative support for the Center for Student Leadership. ? Provide quality customer service through understanding of department operations, advising functions, and leadership programs. ? Assist with event planning and room reservations using ASTRA reservation system. ? Assist student organizations in event planning process. ? Become knowledgeable on risk management and forms for RSO?s. ? Work with supervisor to create leadership training or workshops for student assistants.
