  • Department description The High Tech Law Institute is the top five, nationally ranked intellectual property law program in the US. We are an experienced and collegial team that produce events, promotes scholarship and institutional accomplishments, and plan academic symposiums, help recruit high tech law students, assist with externships and fund raise.
    Qualifications SCU rising sophmore, junior or senior Marketing, Communication major preferred, but other majors will be considered with the right skills, can do attitude and experience. Excellent writing and communications skills, Interest in and basic knowledge of social media marketing Knowledge/interest of technology and/or law a plus Team player with good time management skills.
    Duties and responsibilities The High Tech Law Institute is looking for a motivated, self-started to assist High Tech Law Institute Assistant Director and Program Manager. This is a multi -faceted job where the right student can gain skills in marketing/communications, social media, event management, project management and non-profit and higher education administration. Responsibilities: The student intern will work on a variety of marketing and communications assignments, including planning a robust social media calendar promoting events, scholarship and other HTLI initiatives; helping in the development of a communications plan and execution of the plan during the academic year; helping in the development of other marketing and communications ideas to reach various HTLI markets. The student intern will also assist in the execution of on-campus events and will learn logistics, volunteer management and other event related skills.
