  • Department description University Operations: Comprised of Business Services, Campus Safety, Facilities, Projects & Planning, EH&S, Sustainability and Utilities. These departments are responsible for the daily operations of campus, with respect to safety, maintenance, construction and utility provision. This student position works for Business Services but provides support for the additional 6 departments within the division.
    Qualifications Position is mainly Project based, and thus duties will change based on project load. Tasks may include: - Producing training documentation - Campus Inventories (warehouse, trees, keys, etc.) - Campus wide audits - Basic hardware/software installation and associated troubleshooting - A strong ability to understand and follow detailed instruction with minimal error, including the ability to admit error and resolve problems - High accuracy and attention to detail - Intermediate computer skills required, with an aptitude to learn customized software programs, including a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite - Internally motivated, with the ability to locate new tasks and work independently - Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast paced and often interrupted work environment - A valid driver's license is required
    Duties and responsibilities - Provide an intermediate level of administrative support for the University Operations Division - Required use of an Enterprise Resource Management system ? AiM, for a multitude of daily activities - Ability to provide AiM support to staff and crews - Other duties as assigned
