  • Department description The Chemistry Stockroom Assistant assists students, staff, and faculty by providing support for day to day stockroom operations. Chemistry Stockroom Assistants are responsible for handing out and re-shelving routine supplies and equipment for students, staff, and faculty while labs are in session.
    Qualifications 1. Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at Santa Clara University having a 2.0 GPA or better. 2. Successful completion of General Chemistry III or beyond. 3. Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of students, staff, and faculty. 4. Ability to work effectively in a stimulating and flexible work environment. 5. Good attendance and work habits. 6. Resume would be helpful when applying for this position.
    Duties and responsibilities 1. Be present in the Chemistry department stockroom while labs are in session. 2. Hand out equipment and supplies to students. Re-shelve equipment and supplies when they are returned to the stockroom. 3. Inventory stockroom equipment periodically and maintain stockroom shelves in good order.
