2013 Open Enrollment FAQs

If I don’t want to change what I have do I need to do anything?
No, your 2012 choices will carry over to the 2013 plan year, however if you wish to participate in the Flexible Spending program you will need to re-enroll at this time.

Last year we heard about a credit for waiving benefits, what do I need to do? How much is it? Can I keep Dental?
Yes, last year we sent out an email letting the community know about the $150 dollar monthly credit should you wish to waive medical benefits for the 2013 plan year. In order to take advantage of this credit you will need to waive yourself and dependents out of our medical coverage during this time. You and your family can keep the dental benefits and still be eligible for the credit.

How do I make the changes I need to for the new plan year?
This year we are able to offer an online automated service delivered via our ecampus website. You will need to log onto eCampus and navigate to the HR Self Service page. Once there, please select Benefits Enrollment and then make changes in your coverage selections and or updating dependent and beneficiary information. Once submitted, HR will verify your information and your request will be completed.

Has the 403b limits changed for 2013?
Yes, the new annual limits are now $17,500 for those under the age of 50, for those over 50, the maximum contribution is $23,000.
