A Tribute
Dan Germann's Biography
During his 25-year tenure at Santa Clara University, Fr. Dan Germann, S.J. embodied a commitment to faith and justice. Dan left a legacy at the University that continues to serve students, faculty, staff, and alumni today. The 10 pm student liturgy, various weddings and baptisms, the Campus Ministry Office, the East Side Project, and the Alumni for Others program rank among some of Dan's most influential gifts to the University. Personally, Dan helped to transform the culture of Santa Clara by teaching students to learn, pray, reflect, and engage the world. In this way, he was a great mentor and friend to all he encountered.
