    Each fall, six western Jesuit universities sponsor a conference called “Western Conversations in Jesuit Higher Education” bringing faculty delegates together for in-depth discussions on important topics related to the Jesuit Catholic educational mission. Participating institutions include Gonzaga University, Loyola Marymount University, Regis University, Santa Clara University, Seattle University, and the University of San Francisco.

    In 1998 leaders of the Jesuit Universities in the United States planned three regional conferences in 1999 and one follow-up national conference at Santa Clara University in the year 2000 in the first systematic attempt to examine the effect of the commitment to justice upon the Jesuit institutions of higher education in the United States. Here are archives of two of the original conferences and two follow-up conferences: Western Regional Conference 1999, National Conference 2000, Follow-up Gathering 2002, Justice Conference 2005.
