Jack Jezreel, with a Master of Divinity Degree from the University of Notre Dame, spent six years in a Catholic Worker community, providing basic and emergency services to the homeless in Colorado, before directing his attention to transformative education, to encourage people of Catholic background to be engaged in outreach and social change.

Jack developed and is currently the Executive Director of JustFaith (www.justfaith.org), a nonprofit organization that creates and supports justice formation processes, and is a popular national speaker and teacher. JustFaith has had extraordinary results and has been recognized nationally as a potent strategy for empowering social ministry. The three largest povertyfocused Catholic organizations in the country – Catholic Charities USA, Catholic Campaign for Human Development and Catholic Relief Services – and the largest ecumenical hunger-focused Christian organization in the U.S., Bread for the World, are partners and promoters of JustFaith. Over eighteen thousand people in over one hundred Catholic dioceses and 1,000 Protestant churches have participated. New ecumenical and Catholic groups will be forming for Fall, 2009.
