Popular ideas about God, science and religion are widespread in today’s globalized societies, both East and West. For the most part, these rather simplistic ideas have been accepted far too easily. One could argue that they ought to be challenged by time-tested perspectives from other cultures, historically strong and with vast thoughtful populations. They should also be confronted by contemporary scientific, philosophical and artistic insights. The speaker and the audience will jointly explore this possibility and the role that the science and religion dialogue might play in this process.
