Arrupe Placements
Many professors across the academic disciplines require or strongly recommend that students participate in an Arrupe placement as part of their work in an academic course.

This is a joint effort by 51 Catholic colleges and universities to recruit and develop faculty who can articulate and enrich the spiritual and intellectual life of their institutions. Participation is by selection.

Consisting of monthly four-hour meetings throughout the academic year, the sessions are designed to explore and demystify the Jesuit ethos. The forum facilitators lead its participants in significant and challenging discussions that explore the intersection of Ignatian Spirituality and the life of the scholar-teacher. Participation is by selection.

Each fall, six western Jesuit universities sponsor a conference called “Western Conversations in Jesuit Higher Education” bringing faculty delegates together for in-depth discussions on important topics related to the Jesuit Catholic educational mission. Participation is by selection.
