Ignatian Staff Conversations

University pictureIgnatian Staff Conversations is an annual offering of the Ignatian Center for Jesuit Education that seeks to provide a space for staff to reflect upon their work life here at Santa Clara University and to explore how their work is integrated into the Ignatian mission of the University.  Through a series of six luncheon sessions, staff participants are able to discuss shared readings, reflect on their own lived experiences, and examine the contributions that Ignatian spirituality can make toward achieving a greater sense of calling in our work.

Invitations to participate in Ignatian Staff Conversations are issued in September of each academic year. Participation is open to any Santa Clara University staff member with the permission of their supervisor.

These comments from past participants reflect the value of this experience:

-This is one of the best things offered on campus! I'm so lucky to get to attend. I also appreciate a place to discuss spiritual issues/thoughts/questions with my co-staff.
-It was wonderful to talk and discuss issues with co-workers about family, work, and faith with the security of confidentiality.
-These sessions reinforced my decision to continue employment at SCU. These are perks that no monetary compensation can match.
