Social Justice Vocation Symposium

This Career Center symposium allows you to interact with alumni and others in a variety of career fields (including law, education, social services, business, science, and more), who are passionate about affecting social change. Topics addressed by speakers include:

• Pursuing social justice and the ability to make a living
• Tips for uncovering your interests and talents
• Choosing majors
• Graduate School
• Preparing for the future
• Tips for the workplace
• Avoiding burnout and balancing work and relationships
• The role of spirituality in vocational discernment
• Identifying a cause and determining the work you want to do

The symposium allows you to reflect on your interests, while introducing you to Career Center resources to research opportunities that connect your interests to meaningful work.

Open to sophomores, juniors and seniors. 2 units. Partially reserved for Loyola RLC.
