We Are All Part of the Team!
The Information Security Office at Santa Clara University formed on December 3, 2012 with Robert Henry filling the new role of Chief Information Security Officer. So far, the office is a team of one--but everybody at SCU plays a part in protecting private information.
Bob Henry has over 20 years experience in Information Systems, serving ten years as a Systems Engineer at Boise State University before becoming the BSU's Information Security Officer in 2007.
During his service at Boise State he formalized Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard compliance, established policy and governance structures, and led technical incident response teams.
A graduate of Boise State and the University of New Hampshire, he holds CISSP and GIAC Forensic Analyst and Incident Handler credentials. He has led Local Mentor Program sessions in forensics, incident handling, and security architecture for the SANS Institute.
