About the Professsor:
Over the years, Lúcás has served, studied, and received his Jesuit formation in various parts of the world, including Singapore, Britain, Ireland, Cambodia, Macau, the Philippines, United States, Italy, and Germany. While living in the United States, he served as a consultant to the Bioethics Committees of two hospitals. Lúcás has also served as a board member of the two international “Catholic Theological Ethics in the World Church (CTEWC)” Conferences held in Italy in 2006 and 2010. He is currently the Chair of the Asian Committee of the CTEWC Board and is a member of the Editorial Board of Asian Horizons, a Catholic journal in India.
Prior to coming the JST, Lúcás received two year-long Fellowships from Yale Divinity School and Woodstock Theological Center of Georgetown University, and was Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies of the Chinese University of Hong Kong in Fall 2011.
