About the Professor:

Dr. Zeph arrived in Berkeley in August 2010 after having served 13 years on the faculty of the Loyola Institute for Ministry at Loyola University New Orleans. In that capacity, she traveled throughout the United States, to Canada, and to 4 other countries in Europe, Africa, and Central America to train facilitators for the LIM Extension Program. She brings all of those experiences with her to her new position as the Director of Ministerial Formation for JST-SCU.

She has published various articles, chapters, and book reviews; and has presented on the topics of continuing professional education, the interrelationship of personal and professional development, the interrelationship of adult development and spirituality, and the spirituality of lay ministry. She is currently the North American Book Review Editor for the Journal of Adult Theological Education and the treasurer of the newly formed AJCU Conference on Ministerial, Pastoral, and Theological Education.

Dr. Zeph will be teaching the Integration Seminars for the M.Div. program and advising students in their Field Education placements. She is a graduate of JST's ISW and M.T.S. programs, and looks forward to working with and contributing to the wider JST and GTU communities in the broad arena of Ministerial Formation.
