El Instituto Hispano es un programa del Jesuit School of Theology (JST) de la Universidad de Santa Clara. El Instituto se lleva a cabo en el campus de JST en Berkeley, CA.
El Instituto Hispano está dirigido a personas de habla hispana quienes desempeñan ministerios pastorales en las comunidades Hispanas/Latinas de la Iglesia. El Instituto sirve también a los diáconos y religiosos como educación continua y para aquellas personas que quieren prepararse como ministros.
Las clases incluyen temas de teología sobre Sagradas Escrituras, liturgia, Sacramentos, historia de la Iglesia, teología moral, enculturación y asuntos ministeriales y pastorales. Las clases se dan en español.
Al final de cada verano, los participantes reciben un certificado de cumplimiento y cinco créditos de educación continua (CEUs). Adicionalmente, luego de completar tres veranos seguidos en el Instituto se confiere un Certificado en estudios Teológicos y Pastorales.

The Hispanic Institute is a program of the Jesuit School of Theology (JST) of Santa Clara University. The Institute is held on the campus of JST in Berkeley, CA.
The Hispanic Institute is a program in theology and ministry for Spanish-speaking ministers in Hispanic / Latino communities of the Church. The Institute also provides deacons, religious and lay ministers with continuing education.
The course content includes Sacred Scripture, liturgy, sacraments, Church history, moral theology, inculturation, and ministerial and pastoral issues. Classes are taught in Spanish.
At the end of each summer participants receive a certificate of completion and five continuing education credits (CEUs). Additionally, after completing three consecutive summers at the Institute participants are conferred the Certificate in Theological and Pastoral Studies.
