Rob McChesney, S.J., serves as Director of the New Directions Sabbatical Program. He has served as a Jesuit priest for over 25 years. Rob is a former prison chaplain in a federal immigration detention center; director of the Jesuit Refugee Service in the United States; and university chaplain in a major urban area. He has wide experience in spiritual formation and direction, as well as leadership development within an intercultural framework. Priscilla Lopez is the program assistant for New Directions Sabbatical, Intercultural Initiatives, and The Hispanic Institute. She is from Los Angeles, but has made a new home in the Bay Area. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A in Political Science. She also studied at La Universidad Catolica Pontificia de Chile in South America. She has also worked with Hispanics in Philanthropy and The ACLU (The American Civil Liberties Union). Priscilla has a passion for social justice and serving the community.
