The Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University (JST-SCU) owns three student apartment buildings, and also maintains two intentional lay student communities.* Click on the map below to explore the JST neighborhood and housing options. All our units have basic furnishings: bed, dresser, desk, chairs, and basic kitchen appliances and implements. Please click here for more specific housing information.

JST and its students also have access to other housing resources such as religious communities and rectories, residence halls and apartments at other Graduate Theological Union (GTU) schools, and apartment listings from local landlords who rent to GTU students. We are happy to assist you in accessing these resources.

To apply for housing, or to request assistance in finding off-campus housing, submit the Student Housing Information Profile when you apply for admission. Once you've been accepted for admission to JST-SCU, will contact you. If you are planning a visit to the school, you may want to make an appointment with Assistant Dean of Students, Paul Kircher, for more information.
