Master of Arts in Biblical Languages (M.A.B.L.)
IntroductionAre you interested in pursuing a program that allows you to specialize in biblical languages? Have you thought about pursuing doctoral work in biblical studies? The Jesuit School of Theology offers the Master of Arts in Biblical Languages degree program in cooperation with the Graduate Theological Union (GTU). The M.A.B.L is a two-year academic degree that requires students to select a school of affiliation. The academic program provides students with a firm foundation in biblical studies and a concentration in the biblical languages. Once affiliated with the Jesuit School of Theology, students work with an advisor from the JST faculty and have access to a variety of JST and Santa Clara University resources.Fall Admissions Deadline: February 15th Spring Admissions Deadline: October 1st Prerequisites
*Admissions requirements to the MA in Biblical Languages are the same as for the Common MA, with the exception that applicants to the MA in Biblical Languages are expected to have some undergraduate preparation in Biblical Studies—minimally, six semester units of introductory courses in Biblical Studies. **Click here for more specific information about this program. |
