October 11, 2012 marks the Fiftieth Anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council. The JST Vatican II Speakers Bureau invites you to explore the significance of the Council in your parish, school or community. The JST Vatican II Speakers Bureau will provide your community with an informative and stimulating speaker. Members of the Speakers Bureau are knowledgeable and experienced in a variety of the issues addressed by the council. Hosting a member of the JST Vatican II Speakers Bureau in your parish, school or community is a great way to prepare for Vatican II: Recalling Our Past, Looking to Our Future, a Public Lecture Series offered by the faculties of the Department of Religious Studies at Santa Clara University, the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, and the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University. Beginning in the Fall of 2012, distinguished lecturers from around the United States will speak on some of the major themes of Vatican II.
