Tuesday Evening Mass & Soup SupperEach Tuesday evening of the academic year, the JST community gathers for Eucharist. We gather to bless and praise God and to pray for the life of the world. We pray to the extent that we understand, experience, and embrace our identity as the Body of Christ - the Church. All are invited to serve as Liturgical Ministers of the Word, Communion, Music, Movement, Bread Baking, and Hospitality. There are opportunities to assist in creating the environment of Gesu Chapel to reflect the liturgical season and deepen the praying heart of community. After Tuesday Eucharist, there is a soup and salad supper. On occasion, the community is offered presentations on a variety of topics, some of which touch upon Ignatian spirituality. On an informal level, this "community night" has done much to foster integral formation for many students. |
