Wi-fi is available at all GTU member schools. Before you can connect to the Wi-Fi on the JST campus, or anywhere in the GTU, you must bring your laptop or mobile device to Consortial IT Services (CITS).

CITS supports the faculty, staff and students of the entire GTU Consortium. They are located underneath the chapel at the Pacific School of Religion, on the corner of LeConte Avenue and Scenic Avenue. During the academic year, CITS is open from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. They can be contacted via email at or by phone at (510) 849-8204. You may also visit their website.

Connecting to the wireless network depends on your location within the consortium. There are several networks throughout the consortium:

SCU Gmail

All school-related e-mail will go to your SCU Gmail account at Be sure to check this mail or set it to forward to your personal e-mail account so you do not miss important school updates.

You can find the log-in name and password to your Gmail account by logging into your E-Campus portal, then going to the left hand "Enterprise Menu," clicking on "Personal Portfolio," and going to "SCU Electronic Information."

SCU E-Campus Portal

E-Campus is the log-in portal for obtaining your SCU Gmail address and for logging in payroll hours for student worker positions. You will receive this log-in via e-mail to your personal e-mail account prior to orientation at JST.
