Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University

International Students

The rapidly changing face of the Catholic Church requires leaders who are adept at understanding and working with different cultures. At the Jesuit School, students from more than 40 countries draw on the wisdom of each other's experience, as well as our heritage of scholarship, to help them learn to minister to others in a multicultural environment.

From classes to coursework, many Jesuit School experiences reflect our global orientation. Our students and professors appreciate the new perspectives that they gain from each other. Our location in the San Francisco Bay Area allows us to experience the growing diversity, and also the increasing disparity between rich and poor, within our own community through field placements and ministerial leadership training.

International students play an essential role in the Jesuit School family. If you are an international student considering attending the Jesuit School, we encourage you to learn more about us and apply for admission. We are waiting for you to share your personal experiences with us, to grow with us, and to help us grow.
