Financial Aid Information
If you will be relying on federal student loans to help pay for your tuition, you must file a FAFSA and submit all supporting documentation with enough advance time to allow for processing of your federal financial aid package. If you have not already submitted your FAFSA, you must do so immediately at fafsa.ed.gov. Santa Clara University’s school code is 001326. You will not receive an official award notification until Santa Clara University is listed as one of the six schools on your FAFSA. Please do not send a paper copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR). If SCU was not originally listed on your FAFSA, please make the correction and submit it to the federal processor immediately.
If you will be applying for private loans to help pay for your tuition, you should submit your application no more than 90 days before the first day of classes for processing by your lender. Classes begin Monday, August 22, 2008.
Please contact our financial aid counselor, LaToya Powell, at lpowell@scu.edu or (408) 554-4447 for more information about financial aid processing.
