Academic Success Program

The Academic Success Program ("ASP") complements the first year law school curriculum by helping students develop the academic and analytical skills necessary to succeed in law school.

ASP offers a unique opportunity for students to experience legal learning, synthesis and analysis through various methods both in classroom, groups, and one-on-one under the guidance of the ASP Director and selected upper-division students.

ASP works to integrate all students into the legal academic and professional environment, and has been used as a model by other law schools nation-wide.

Most ASP programming is available to all students. Select Fall semester services are limited to incoming first-year law students. Spring semester eligibility is adjusted based on Fall performance. Students may contact the ASP office with questions about the program or eligibility.

The APD/ASP Resource Center provides various study aids and practice questions in a comfortable study setting. Located in Loyola Hall rooms 163 and 137 the Center is open from 9am - 5pm Monday through Friday.
