November 13, 2008 at 2:03 PM
Come to the last APD Exam Writing Workshop tomorrow, 11/14, 10:30-11:45 a.m. in B127. We will help you fine tune your essay writing & organization. Upper-division students will be available for one-on-one questions as well. Write out an answer to the Torts question (see APD TWEN page) and e-mail it at least 4 hours before the workshop to Jennifer Leung at jyleung@scu.edu.
Tomorrow (11/14) from 2:30-4:30 p.m. is the last Practice Exam in Civil Procedure:
- Jimenez, B139
- Hsieh, B142
- Russell, B127
Since these practice exams are meant to mirror the experience you will have in December, all Rules of Professional Conduct are in effect. You must bring your ACCESS card and Blind Grading ID (BGID), which you will need for all APD Practice Exams and your real exams. If you do not know your BGID, please go the Ecampus website and click on "Student Records" on the left column and then click "Blind Grading ID."
Finally, if you intend to type your exam, you must have registered with the ExamSoft program and downloaded the related ASP Practice Exam file (refer to Emails from Lisa Willett or Faculty Support). If you do not pre-register ExamSoft and bring your BGID, you will have to handwrite your exam.
For those of you that choose to take the exam at home, you may access it on Friday at 2:30 p.m. on the APD TWEN site. If you would like your answer to be graded, please e-mail it to jyleung@scu.edu by Friday, Nov 14th at 11:59 p.m. Late exams will not be accepted or graded.
Any questions should be directed to apd@scu.edu or 408-551-1609.
Good luck,
Marina Hsieh
