Scholarships available to interns in corporate IP law departments!

ANNOUNCING THE 2007 DONALD W. BANNER CORPORATE INTERN SCHOLARSHIP
Two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to outstanding law students who have completed an internship in a corporate intellectual property law department and intend to pursue a career in intellectual property law.
Application Deadline: Friday, October 12, 2007 (Application available www.ipoef.org for details.)
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants must have completed an internship in a corporate intellectual property department and must be enrolled in law school in 2008.
Required Supporting Materials:
1. A statement about the corporate internship experience;
2. A statement explaining why the applicant intends to pursue a career in the field of IP law;
3. A reference from the company with which the student interned; and
4. Evidence of academic achievement in law school.
Scholarship recipients will be notified in November and recognized at an award ceremony on January 28, 2008 in Santa Barbara, CA. (Travel and accomodations provided by IPO Education Foundation.)
