HTLI October Events and Internship Opportunity Announcement

10/25: IP Transactional Intermediaries: Who are they and what do they do?
HTLI  is co-sponsoring a lunch event with the Licensing Executive Society to present a panel discussion. Patent Litigation has changed significantly over the past decade in scope and magnitude. In response to this upward trend, many high tech companies have found the need for intelligent assistance in reviewing and expanding their portfolio. To meet this need, companies have emerged that offer a variety of specialized services to facilitate the high tech companies’ IP valuation as well as purchase and sale of IP assets.

October 26th: PTO Rulemaking Proposals
HTLI is co-sponsoring a dinner event with the Silicon Valley IP Law Association and Berkeley Center for Law and Technology. The PTO has made several recent proposals on the topics of continuations, information disclosure statements, accelerated examination and alternative patent products. Join us to hear experts on this topic describe these proposals and examine their usefulness for the bar, their potential impact on business clients, and likelihood of implementation.
