Public Interest Law Career Services
Public Interest Law Career Services (PILCS) is an organization run by Santa Clara Law students that is dedicated to helping students and graduates of SCU obtain legal employment and pro bono volunteer opportunities in the public interest and social justice fields. PILCS provides resources and counseling for job searches, internships, fellowships and volunteer positions in public interest related fields.
In addition, PILCS also coordinates:
- The Eighth Annual Public Interest Career and Information Fair, which will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2005 from 12:00to 4:00pm on the Santa Clara University campus. If you would like to participate, please email pilcs@scu.edu for more information.
- The Pro Bono Recognition Program, which helps students find volunteer positions and recognizes them with a plaque for more than 50 hours of volunteer service a year. To qualifiy, you must submit the Pro Bono Recognition Program Work Verification Form.
- Assist in the coordination of Public Interest/Public Sector Day.
