Cindy Tippett, J.D.

High Tech Law Institute

Cindy came to Santa Clara Law from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she served as Coordinator for the nationally-ranked Law and Health Care Program and Director of Health Law Externships. In that capacity she administered all aspects of the program; advised Health Law Certificate students; managed conferences, speaker series, and panels; and oversaw print publications and the program's Web site. She previously worked as an Associate with Zuckerman Spaeder LLP, and concurrently as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Biology at the Community College of Baltimore County. Cindy earned her JD from the University of Maryland School of Law, her MS in Biological Sciences from the  University of Maryland Baltimore County, and her BA in English and Biology from Georgia Southern University.

Kyra Maeder

Program Manager

High Tech Law Institute

Kyra came to the Law School from the Department of Religious Studies at SCU, where she was an Administrative Assistant since 2006. Prior to joining SCU, she held several administrative roles in other academic institutions, including the Department of Mathematics at Rutgers University. Kyra received her BS from Vanderbilt University and her M.Ed. from Tennessee State University. In the High Tech Law Institute, Kyra provides the full range of academic support to the Institute, including assisting students, maintaining the Web site, event planning, and managing the office.
