International Law Program

Semester Law Study Abroad

A limited number of students who qualify may apply to take one semester of their law studies abroad.  This semester may be taken at one of the universities with whom Santa Clara University School of Law has a reciprocal agreement.

 

Santa Clara University School of Law currently has agreements in place for its law students to spend a semester studying law at universities in Germany, The Netherlands, Finland, Poland, Belgium, South Korea, and Japan. Santa Clara University School of Law students who have successfully completed three semesters of the exchange program.

 

Qualifying students can take up to 12 units abroad and most programs are offered in English, thus foreign language fluency is not a requirement, but is considered an advantage.

 

Students hoping to study abroad for a semester must first complete the Notice of Intent to Study Abroad for a Semester form and submit to the Center for Global Law and Policy by February 15, 2008.  Once that form is complete, students will be given the application form.

South America
