Participants may then choose between two courses, each for three weeks and 3 units credit:

OR

2b. International Commercial Dispute Resolution, June 16 - July 4, Murdoch University, Perth (3 units)

Add to classes optional four week internships in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, or Brisbane.
July 6 - August 1 (3 units)

This program provides a unique pan-Australian opportunity to get to know this fascinating country and its people. Both UTS and Murdoch are public law schools of the highest quality. Instruction in both courses is by Australian faculty.

Santa Clara launched its law and technology program at UTS in Sydney in 2004. "There are not enough great things I can say about the Sydney abroad program. The professors were great: welcoming and warm, not to mention the foremost experts in their respective fields. The courseload was a perfect amount enough to keep us interested in learning, but not overwhelming. Taking classes in the morning meant having afternoons free to take in the beautiful sights of the city. I met amazing people whom I'm sure I will keep in touch with, and had a chance to travel to the Great Barrier Reef and Fiji on weekends. I participated in the internship portion, working at Amnesty International for four weeks where I got practical, hands on experience. There is no better way I could have spent my summer!"

Serinna Jenab, SCU (2007)

"I had the most wonderful, life fulling experience in Sydney. It opened my mind . . . I got to meet a variety of attorneys there and intern at Coca Cola Company. I got to hug kangaroos and koalas, go snowboarding in New Zealand, meet wonderful people from all over the world, visit the most beautiful beaches in the world. I would do it again in a heartbeat!"

Ann Guyen, SCU (2005)

"The faculty at UTS was excellent . . . and all helped make the trip very interesting and enjoyable."
