Community Law Center

Brief description of educational opportunities

Law Class

The Law Center provides free legal services to low-income individuals seeking help with employment, workers’ compensation, consumer, and immigration matters.

Santa Clara University law students are the primary case handlers for these individuals. The Law Center accepts a few carefully-screened cases for full and partial representation, and offers weekly clinics during which individuals get free legal advice that enables them to take charge of their legal problem.

Students are exposed to a variety of interesting cases, make contacts in the legal community, and get important legal experience working at the Law Center.
