People with a variety of questions call or come to the Law Center for information and assistance. Most Law Center clients do not speak English.

Some are illiterate in their native language. They are generally very low income, and they come from all over the world. They work as landscapers, as janitors, in restaurant kitchens, as domestic workers, on construction sites, as assemblers and in other service industry jobs.

Many have suffered workplace injuries for which they have not received any compensation. They often share housing with three or four other families, however, some are homeless.

Most are polite and hard-working but, like the vast majority of people, they are unaware of their legal rights.
