Community Service
I am actively involved in an organization called Hidden Villa. Hidden Villa is a farm and wilderness preservation program that engages children and adults in hands-on, innovative activities promoting environmental awareness and multicultural understanding. The program takes place on a beautiful 1,600 acre farm and wilderness preserve in Los Altos, CA.
Recent Publications
Over the past few years I have had several opportunities to contribute my work in various publications. My work was featured in two recent books entitled, Privilege Revealed: How Invisible Preference Undermines America, and "Meditations on Being Good" in Critical Race Feminism.
I am also in the process of researching information for a new book concerning African American property ownership. To this end, I recently published an article entitled, Race and Property Values in Entrenched Segregation, 52 U. Miami L. Rev. 201 (1998). If you are interested in learning more about my findings on African America property ownership, you may search the Lexis or Westlaw databases for past publications.
