Bradley Joondeph (Health Care Reform), Pratheepan (Deep) Gulasekaram (Immigration Law) and Colleen Chien (Intellectual Property Rulings) will present recent findings, moderated by Dean Donald Polden.

Hear attorney Philip L. Gregory '80 from Cotchett, Pitre, & McCarthy discuss prevention, detection, investigation, and prosecution of financial fraud. Recognize and combat investment opportunity "red flags" and learn about the impact of financial fraud. Cotchett attorneys were part of the legal team who met with Bernie Madoff in the North Carolina Federal Prison and who represented individual investor victims of "Boots" Del Biaggio.

Chocolate - Food of the Gods by Howard Peters ’78
Chocolate has been a part of the New World culture for thousands of years. In this presentation, some of the history, features of its production, health aspects, and the chemistry of its active ingredient; theobroma cocoa (literally from the Greek – Food of the Gods) will be discussed. In addition, all who attend will receive samples of chocolate, and for those who stay to the “bitter” end, there will be a drawing for a free 10-pound bar of “bittersweet” chocolate.
