Environmental Sciences and Pollution Management
Multidisciplinary database covers all areas of pollution as well as bacteriology, ecology, risk assessment, environmental biotechnology, water resources, etc. 1981-present.

SCU's ScienceDirect online journal collection contains 400+ journals in science, technology, medicine, and more, including high impact-factor journals such as the Trends and Current Opinion series. Most are full-text. Dates covered: 1995-present.

Center for Applied Biodiversity Science / Conservation International
The Center for Applied Biodiversity Science (CABS), the scientific hub of Conservation International, links science to conservation worldwide. Reports, gap analysis of key biodiversity areas, Biodiversity Hotspots, etc.
CERES (California Environmental Resources Evaluation System)
The California Resources Agency developed CERES as a portal to information on California's environments. Search by geographic area, topic, organization, and more.
Convention on Biological Diversity
The U.N. Environment Programme's Convention on Biological Diversity includes the Convention document, programs, issues, case studies, and reports.
Endangered Ecosystems of the United States : a preliminary assessment of loss and degradation
Though more than ten years old, this 1995 report by the Department of Interior's National Biological Service provides a good overview, many references, and historical ecological information, region by region.
IUCN Red List of Threatened Species
International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) lists and assesses the status of endangered species worldwide.
Manual of California Vegetation
Via UC-Davis, the California Native Plant Society provides this manual to California vegetation, whose subsets include geographic regions, classifications, images, and more.
U.S. Fish & Wildlife Endangered Species Program
U.S. endangered species laws and policies, species information and lists, conservation tools, links to critical ecosystem information.
