How Do I Find Course Materials?

Materials your professor has put on Reserve could be in two places:

Electronic Reserves
Selected readings and other documents that your instructor has put online can be found on Camino (Angel) or through ERes.

To search for material on ERes select Electronic Reserves & Course Pages, type in your instructor's last name and click the search button. Choose the right class from the results list, enter the instructor-provided password, read the brief copyright statement, and then click on the accept button.

If you need any help using ERes, please contact Course Reserves (libraryreserve@scu.edu, 408-554-5240) or ask for assistance at the Circulation Desk.

You may also be able to access electronic reserves through your course's Camino (Angel) page.

Hard Copy Reserves
Books and other media (e.g., sample exams, DVDs, etc.) that your instructor has put on reserve are held at the Circulation Desk.

To search for reserve material click on OSCAR and choose either Course Name or Instructor.

Within a reserve list, the titles of the books are listed in alphabetical order on the left side of the screen and their locations, call numbers, status and checkout periods are on the right hand side. If the title you want is listed as AVAILABLE, write the call number down and present it to the staff at the Circulation Desk.
