Fond Memories

Thursday, Jul. 15, 2010

I was fortunate to have taken accounting my sophomore year at Santa Clara from Fr. Locatelli. It was his first year teaching. I thought it was a hard class, but he was always approachable and kind. Years later at one our reunions, he admitted he taught the course as if it was a graduate class. That was good to hear. Through that class he created a connection with his passion and personality. Years later I would see him running in the Mission Gardens. He was always friendly, would stop and talk. He has left an incredible legacy and most importantly, the way he treated people. I will miss hearing about his next steps, but I trust he is at peace and we have gained a very special person watching from above. Vicki Sattui '77 Pope
