Handsomest Jesuit Priest!

Monday, Jul. 19, 2010

I am forever naive, being here in Honolulu, Hawaii most of my life. I learned about M-R-S's, and coeds, and a's, b's, and c's. I was most surprised when my best friends always brought my attention to the many men on campus at Santa Clara! I was accustomed to being with men, I am the eldest of four chlidren, three younger brothers. I read about Father Locatelli's accomplishments today, and I treasure the moments when I probably did meet him. My friends were always interested in our opinions of the faculty members. This is always important for success everywhere. Now, I know he was at the beginning of his very long career of priesthood in the Society of Jesus. We were quietly, admiring his model behavior on campus, which always sparked some envy among our male friends. We were luckily in the college of sciences, not the school of business and accounting. I am sorry he is gone, but he achieved his ultimate goals in his life. I was most happy when I saw he also served Pope Benedict, because I think it is one of the most important achievements a priest can have, and Father Paul Locatelli did reach his goal. I am sure we will all miss him, but there must be some young students, or relatives just like him. Santa Clara is a wonderful school, and he helped SCU become one of the best! aloha, Stephanie, class of 1978
